The Ultimate Cord Cutting Guide (merged)

What are you talking about?🤷‍♂️
How you figure that to happen? YTTV is a major ESPN sponsor.
I'm saying a lot of the reason why people have "package deals" (cable, satellite, YouTube TV, Hulu+, etc) is because they can't get ESPN any other way. Most other channels on those packages are available through streaming services.

Once ESPN is not exclusively tied to "package deals", I bet people will cancel their subscriptions in favor of getting a few streaming services for their favorite channels (since ESPN is now "a la carte").

Edit: I probably responded to the wrong post originally...sorry

How is that any different than any other network. I don't see ESPN networks leaving YTTV or any other streaming service.

ESPN announced a new streaming option this fall. Based on what I can tell it includes network stations (espn, espn2, sec network, abc) along with espn+.

If so, I’m likely going that option instead of YouTubetv

ESPN Standalone service is $29.99/mo. Sheesh.

Still haven’t heard anything on the cell carrier deals. Hoping they sweeten the deal.
