Where am I telling anyone that they should adopt my culture?

Why is it you think you are the personification of US culture? I live here and have met plenty of people that agree with my views, just because I disagree with you doesnt mean that I disagree or am trying to overrun the American way of life. You dont speak for everyone.
Anyone not willing to adopt the European peasant culture is an idiot?

of course its not from an unbiased source!! It's clearly mocking some of the idiots they found at the Tea Party. Can you think of anything thats from a completely unbiased source? I certainly cant.

No doubt but that its a plant.

We on the left are very fortunate in that we don't have to make up frothing at the mouth scary uber-right conservative monsters to attack. There's just already so many to choose from!
And all we need to do is turn to you, everyone on this administartion, our newest SC justice, or all of the leadership on Capitol Hill to find the lunatic fringe clowns bent on Euro America to remind us us that we're lucky as hell the capitalists made this place great enough that there is some prayer of overcoming the current crowd in. power

I didn’t say that anyone that attends a 'tea party' is an idiot…but the people being mocked in that video are clearly idiots. That is the point of the video, I'm not saying that represents everyone who was there! They have cherry picked the stupidest people that could find.

Of course they have cherry picked.

Lucky for conservatives, we don't have to cherry pick stupidity.

All one need do is turn on a TV, open a newspaper, or sign on the Internet. Obama, Reid, and Pelosi will be prominently displayed as shining examples of stupidity.

Occasionally you even get first team stupidity. Maxine Waters, Jimmy Carter, Charles Rangel, etc.

i mean i know that tea parties kinda hit hard to you brits, but understand we are not part of the european brand of democracy where the government pretty much runs everything (as it has always been in europe)

On a side note, when I was younger I thought the Boston Tea Party caused the oceans to be salty!

No lie!

Jesus, this is like dealing with 3 year olds. Is this what the South is like???

In some ways yes. I think more than anything they are giving you a little ribbing. Much better here than in the north, there they go straight for the jugular.

LMFAO!

That why you are here telling us we should adopt your culture? You aren't experiencing our culture, you are prothletising yours.

Out of interest, which countries have you visited?

Actually, this goes for all of you. Have any of you ever been to a foreign country that you have actually liked? If so, which?

thats true actually. The people I've met from the South do tend to be less serious.

I don’t think I've said anything particularly outrageous on here. Not sure I understand the outright hostility for simply disagreeing with you.

Serious question, do you guys actually want a political 'forum' i.e. somewhere that encourages debate (usually kept civil) or do you just want a message board where you can all agree with eachother?

Never been outside the country myself, money has never allowed it.

I would love to go to Costa Rica some day. I would also love to go to Italy, Greece, Egypt and just about anywhere in Central and South America that has ancient city remains. I have always been interested in ancient civilization.

I've been to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Canada, Arkansas and Maine.

Canada is pretty cool, although they took way too long to gain independence from Britain.

I've been to Rome and its pretty incredible. Theres so much history there that its hard to comprehend. You can stand inside the Colosseum, and you can tell yourself that it has been standing there for literally thousands of years….yet its just so hard to take it all in!

Not at all. My girlfriend is American and has been to more countries than I have, although not as frequently. It's true that Americans dont travel anywhere near as much as other nations, but I can understand that given the size of the country and how far you can be from the nearest border.

I was just trying to figure out where all the hostility comes from in the posts on here.
