Last year in the marathon I got crushed at the end by little speed walking soccer moms. My big bird legs couldn't match their turnover. Hence I tried speedwalking on the treadmill tonight. That ish aint easy. Think I need to hit the mall with some old people.
So if the shoes supposedly came with Nike+ you still have to buy the chip?? Reason I ask is I am intrested in this challenge we are talking about. I wouldn't mind being apart of it.

"last to Run"-the last person to run after the random start time is it
Are you mountain biking or using a road bike?
But its fun as hell! Get good music, change up the tempo of the songs, and go to town. Let the music move you!!!
I love moving and walking. As in, speeding up for a good song, and doing extra moves when the music strikes.
That's why I don't like being in public.![]()
I have both. If am subbing a ride for a run then I will double the distance on the mountain bike and almost quadruple for a road ride (i.e. 4-6 mile run = 8-10 mile mtn bike = 20-24 mile road ride). Mountain biking takes more power and short bursts whereas road biking is more top end and endurance. Thats why I adjust the distances. I have no scientific evidence to back this but it seems to work.
For someone looking to get into cycling what kind of bike would you recommend? I really would like to not spend a ton of money on a bike. I probably would lean more towards a road bike too just for the simple fact that I would have to drive a distance before being able to use a mountain bike on a trail.
Jay-Z station on Pandora helped. I got faster toward the end. I will bring my hands up and put a little swag in my shoulders when a good song comes on. I know everyone in the gym must think I'm insane but I don't care.
