Looks like D4H or k-town is a professor in Wisconsin.
Hitler was an advocate for racial justice tooSounds like a great course.
Would be great if it were a requirement for all students. Unfortunately I think only students already open to racial justice will take that course.
This type of course is actually more necessary for those hostile to the concept than those open to it.
He/she is completely separated from history. Progressives allied with Hitler in the 20s-40s to develop eugenics programs that would purify the bloodlines (whiteness). Such programs actually passed forced-sterilization legislation in US state gov'ts, and literally force-steralized American citizens! All from self-professed progressive/liberals.
Funny FYI... One of those eugenics organizations became Planned Parenthood, the modern progressive cow bell.
See Somalia, Chad, Rwanda and etc.
Imagine for a few moments what the world would be like today if populated only by people of color.
That's the way I feel about conservatives. Ironic.
It just seems that history always seems to prove one side over the other.
I guess colleges should start teaching the problem with blackness......millennial pantywaist?
Women's Suffrage (voting)? 19th Amendment presented by Republicans and voted down by a Democratically controlled congress. Finally ratified 40 years later when Republicans won landslide control of Congress.
House Joint Resolution No. 184 (The first legislation to begin the end of Child Labor)? Submitted by Republican, Israel Moore Foster.
Desegregation?
~80% Repubs voted for it.
Less than 70% of Dems voted for it.

Unnecessary. We are already inundated with that every day thanks to the white supremacist media.
Courses like the one at UW are actually necessary to rid us of this anti-black/pro-white bias were are inundated with.

You forgot play-doh and crayola would be out of business
Countless puppies would have no one to hold them
People in New York would be fat again because they wouldn't be restricted on Sosa size
And fwiw, it wasn't the party of the liberals who ended slavery, they voted against it and then formed the kkk.
FYI the democratic and republican party haven't always been progressive or conservative. They've changed idelogies quite a few times. In the 1850s the republicans were actually the progressive party while the democrats were conservative.
Remember the term "conservative" means to conserve, to keep things the same, to follow tradition. While "progressive" means to progress, to move forward. To suggest the party that was fighting to keep the tradition of slavery (the democrats) were the "progressive" party and the party looking to end the tradition of slavery (the republicans) were the "conservative" party is laughable. Its obvious that at that time the conservative thing was to continue the tradition of slavery while the progressive thing was to move beyond it. To "progress".
Same thing happened during the civil rights movement. The parties flipped. The south used to be democrat and the north republican. After the democrats supported the civil rights bill, white southerners became overwhelmingly republican while the northerners became democrat. And thus the parties shifted with the republicans becoming more conservative and the democrats becoming more progressive.
If you have any questions just look how black people voted. After Lincoln they voted republican because that was the progressive party. Then the democrats supported civil rights while republicans opposed it so black folks became democrat.
We typically vote for the progressive party because we got nothing to conserve cause America hasn't been good to us in the past.
First off the computers we are typing on wouldnt exist, neither would the electricity to power them, and neither would the university that enables these dumb professors.
And that barely scratches the surface.
