Once again reading comprehension escapes you. Have you ever been tested? What is your reading comprehension grade level?

And also dad, if It's so bad then don't reply to any of my posts. Arguing with a fool makes you a fool. So I guess were both fools, Haha.

Just like the Jedi scattered around the universe after the Clone Wars or ex-Nazis hiding in Brazil and Argentina, we have Fulmerites hiding in Alaska and Indiana waiting for the return of their hero.

My hero hasn't gone anywhere, peyton manning is all Indiana needs. Bring it on, in peyton we trust!

Here I'll change the subject, just like you!

Fulmer is making money doing nothing, what a great life!

True, and if that is all he needed to feel fulfilled then it would be a great life.

But apparently he wants back into coaching. Perhaps he wants to prove UT was wrong to fire him. But he has shopped his name for several jobs, including USF, and nobody is interested.

It seems everyone, but a few folks on here, realize what a terrible coach he is/was.

Now just for you – See Dick, See Dick want a job. See everyone laugh at Dick.

Hey Im glad that we made a change,I think it was time, but we cannot forget what he did for the program. He brought it to national prominace and should be commended for that.He is a volunteer through and through, and VOL fans should not forget it.

Well I'm not the one who said he was a good coach if that's what your implying. But either way, he's rich and buys whatever he wants. I'm sure you would like that dad, who wouldn't. If I am correct he is on some kind of college football show, he seems content. Plus he's rich!

I have been blessed and have no complaints in that dept.

If he is content, then why does he keep throwing his name out for coaching openings? I mean USF. Really?!?

Well I would say that's the only thing you don't complain about on this bored Haha.

Just bc you through your name for a few jobs doesn't mean your totally desperate for it. Your simply pointing out that you would be up for the challenge if it came to you. Around here in Indiana, in my county we have the 2nd worst unemployment percentage in the country. People with college degrees are hitting up fast food joints after another looking for jobs. That my friend is what you call desperation. Fulmer seems ok to me, if he was really desperate to coach and prove all of us wrong and all I think he'd be making a bigger effort to get one.

You seem to be a little reluctant to absorb what others have pointed out, specifically naming the jobs and offering the links that showed Fulmer was in fact pursuing jobs, pretty actively. And perhaps PF has gotten over the desperation stage, because he realizes that getting the type of job he desires, one with
built-in-success infrastructure, isn't going to happen. And desperation for PF is built around ego, not financial remuneration. But, coaching at a competitive program isn't going to happen for PF. That is clear to everyone with any perception. Odds are long that his ego will have be assuaged in some manner other than coaching, unless of course it should occur to him, and be accepted, that he might be able to get a lower division job or a rebuilding job. Those are likely the only possibilities for him. He isn't getting any younger, in addition to his coaching shortcomings.

A contract was signed, it takes both parties to agree, and they agreed. UT gave him the contract, and he signed it. There's a reason he was fired duh, but as for the money that's on UT not him.

He shouldn't have signed the contract. The program was declining rapidly and he knew it, but cared more about trying to get 200 wins. He was satisfied with 7 or 8 win seasons regardless of what it was doing to the program. If he loved UT more than he did his number of wins, he would have stepped down and done the right thing for the program. His boy Cutt was gone and he didn't know how to turn the program back around without him.

Fulmer clearly thought he was untouchable, as far as job security was concerned. You are right, he wanted 200 wins and to break Neyland's record most of all, personal goals as he referred to them. But, the megalomania that he suffered from didn't allow him to understand that mediocrity wouldn't be tolerated forever, no matter who he was. Thus, his head rolled on the coaching chopping block and he entered his state of denial. He probably has sobered up a bit psychologically since that fateful November day.

The point is UT gave it to him, I didn't say anything about his love for the place. If you blame him from the buyout then you blame UT as well. It goes hand in hand, they gave him the contract, and they fired him. Now they have to faithfully follow the standards of the contract.

Of course UT is to blame and they WILL pay him as per the contract. But, hopefully a lesson has been learned. Fulmer arguably deserves less blame than UT, because he is after all a narcissistic mercenary (many coaches are but Fulmer is in a class by himself). But, at the moment he is an unemployed coaching mercenary, and it will justifiably end that way for him, ie., no more coaching at a major program. TGHG.

Ya I don't think he'll get a head coaching job, what about a oline job somewhere?

Wonder if the heavy one uses personalized, orange and white checks to match his "loyalty."
