Here’s a challenge that I’ve thrown down and almost no Christian will pick up.

Pick anything Paul ever taught and I’ll show it too you in Torah.
Paul like Yeshua is a teacher of the law of G-d
Pauline theological “inventions” include a) the deity of Jesus; b) salvation by grace through faith; c) salvation through the blood of Jesus; d) the sinless nature of Jesus; e) the concept of original sin; and f) the Holy Spirit. None of these “new doctrines” were accepted by Jesus’ true followers.

Link……I mean verse.

Btw
Hab 2:4
The righteous live by faith.

“Behold, as for the (H)impudent one,
His soul is not right within him;
But the (I)righteous one will live by his [e]faith.

And yet Gen 15:6
Righteousness is by belief/faith.

And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens and (G)count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “(H)So shall your [i]descendants be.” 6 (I)Then he believed in the Lord; and He [j]credited it to him as righteousness.

I’ll play your game, 😉. The Hebrew roots movement which Paul vehemently disagrees with.
Romans 10:4, Galatians 3:23-25, Ephesians 2:15, Galatians 6:2, Matthew 22:37-39

Colossians 2:16-17, Romans 14:5, Ephesians 2:19, 1 Corinthians 7:18, Ephesians 2:15, Galatians 3:27-29, Romans 7:6

Again…..the interpretation of Paul is the issue and not Paul himself. Peter testified to the teachings of Paul saying that the uneducated don’t understand and twist to their destruction. Uneducated in what? What education could possibly help to understand Paul?
#answersintorah.
pick a verse. Quote the verse and tell me what you think it means. Then I’ll show you what Paul was saying by showing you the foundation in Torah.

Colossians 2:16 — The New International Version (NIV)
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

Our relationship with God is through Christ, not through physical rituals such as circumcision. The salvation we have, through Christ, is complete and total. Not only does it remove the penalty of sin and restore our relationship to God, it also defeats the forces of evil which come against us

who is the intended audience?
Ask yourself who would be judging them?

There are no Judaism/new believers there. The intended audience is people who no nothing of Judaism and the traditions. They are new to this in every way. So the only way they are judged for these things is by doing them but by not doing them. So when your told not to let anyone judge you it means you’re learning the ways of G-d. When you do these things don’t let the pagans around you bring you down.
you are joining G-d and his ways. He’s not joining you.

Context is very important for Paul’s letters.

@PB&J
Is G-d a trinity?
I guess you’d have to qualify trinity. I believe there is one Godhead.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
New International Version

4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

2 Corinthians 13:14
New International Version

14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

It’s been a while since I’ve had these types of discussions. Earlier this year I did a discipleship class at church with a wonderful group of men and the pastor. I wanted so badly to let loose but I didn’t want to get excommunicated in the process, 😂.
Also, you have my mind kicking into a manic episode. I’m gonna step away so that I have the possibility of getting some sleep. I’ll see you in the morning for day 4! 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘

I’ve missed you my brother. I’m glad you are back to stay.
This can be a slow conversation and exchange of ideas. Take your time and think it through. I too like to challenge my faith and refine it in fire Just like we used to do it. The difference being that here very few dipsticks will get in the way. Not many can do this without being upset.

You remember the god thread that ended up getting nuked?

Till tomorrow

I’ll be honest with you, I’m a huge Paul fan but it triggers so many people. To that end, that’s why I led off with it and I’m a bit disappointed no one took the bait.

I wish I could remember those exchanges.

Most ignore this thread unless they're really board.

What is it about the gospels that you enjoy?
I enjoy learning about the scriptures during Sunday school with the brethren at church. I have been reading more scriptures this year than I have in the past five. This past week we were reading the book of Joshua and Israel entering into the land of Canaan. Book of Mormon next week starting with the book of Mosiah.

Are you Mormon?
It’s an interesting read BTW.

Psalm 79:13 KJV — So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
Psalm 92:1 KJV — A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
Psalm 106:1 KJV — Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 97:12 KJV — Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalm 105:1 KJV — O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

We have so much to thank God for!! Have a blessed day!!
