James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Real saving faith always produces works... Now then, we know by the apostle Paul's writings that works of the law can neither save you nor keep you saved. But comparing scripture with scripture in this text it is obvious that saving faith moves one to action.
One preacher said that theology is the engine that runs life and I believe that he is right. What you believe will directly affect the things that you do. In other words it will control your actions.
Now then, just believing about Jesus Christ isn't enough. Just believing the story doesn't save, but when you believe from the heart and with all of your heart it will move you to action. That's the kind of faith that touches heaven!! It's a child like faith that simply takes God at his word and acts upon it.

God said to go!! We have the words of eternal life and God forbid that we don't tell it far and wide!!
We have a duty and responsibility to live such a clean and holy life that our testimony will mean something to poor lost pitiful sinners... I encourage you this afternoon to be a real Christian with compassion and grace to get busy for the Lord!!

Have you ever tried to talk to someone and they just didn't want to talk to you? Have you ever sought fellowship with someone and they didn't want your fellowship? Tried to be a friend because you enjoyed their company but they didn't enjoy yours? I'd say that we have all sometime or another experienced something to that effect.
I just wanted to tell you about one that longs for your fellowship and friendship and always wants you to talk to him! His name is Jesus!!!! You don't have to worry wether or not you are a bother to him. You can call on him any time day or night and he always has time for you! You don't have to worry about wether or not he will gossip about your conversation. He's a friend that sticketh closer than a brother!!!

So the next time you feel rejected by man, just remember that you have a friend in Jesus Christ whom longs for your fellowship!

Well. I had put lil O on ignore in order to preserve my sanity (only other one is that BigAl something; the equally over-the-top Bama troll). Also not to have to look at the avi. And especially not to have this thread show up.

I didn’t realize that it had gotten so great. I guess BigAl will just have to be lonely.

I like to keep all the Zone posts read, so it drives me crazy to have that one glowing away in bold.

But since there’s some, errr, dialogue going on, there might be some entertainment value, along with increasing my gratitude for my minister.

2nd Cor 9:6¶But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Some unbreakable laws to reaping and sowing.
1. You always reap the same kind of seeds that you sow.
2. You reap according to how much you sow.
3. You always reap more than you sow!

Galatians 6:7¶Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

So in conclusion, if we sow grace, we will reap grace! If we sow mercy, we shall reap mercy!!! If you sow to the booze, you will reap drunkenness. You sow the seeds of drugs and you will reap junkies. If we sow to the flesh we will of the flesh reap corruption. If we sow to the Spirit, we will of the Spirit reap life everlasting!!! And if we sow the good old gospel seed, we will reap a harvest of sinners saved by God's good grace!!!
It's our job to sow good seed and trust God to give the increase. But one thing is sure, if we don't sow any good seed, 100% chance that nothing will come up.

Here’s my thing…….

we had this thread going before. Then someone came in and took a giant Dogma **** on it. Then doubled down by pouring arrogance all over it.
Now he wants to come in here after all that and drop his “Spirituality” all over us.

No…..take that somewhere else……his behavior has told us who he is…..his words are worthless.

I won’t pile on the dog, but I’ll not give into the arrogance of starting a thread that has not shown any interest in besides the popcorn value of a few bored passerby posters. just to either get attention or a shove down the throat. I guess I just piled on the dog, huh.

That means sabbath for you heatherns.

@Danl should go fish. @Orangeredblooded and @MercyPercy should go too. @joevol33 can watch. @Behr can judge us for not catching better fish while attending to his peppers. @VolNExile can lead the gardeners. Y’all know who you are. @NorCalVol67 should be on a paddle board somewhere. @volwindy should go hiking. The red women and I are hiking today as well….

I could go on but the point is…..this is the day that the lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it. What that really means is Saturday is a gift from G-d. Take the day and enjoy time with your family, your friends or just by yourself. Work and worry will be there tomorrow. You can pick it back up then.
