The official UT vs UCLA game thread

I watched that game all the way thru and SC took a win but looked like sh*t the whole 4 QTRS!!

Lets not aspire to follow in there footsteps!!

EXACTLY! I turn on the tv and everyone is talking about SC, and I'm wondering if they saw the same game??

Though Craft is not an All-American by any means... he's been throwing under pressure or out of the pocket or both. The D-Line has forced him into bad decisions.

As I've said to my wife, we'll see how that holds up against the likes of UGA, UGA, Aub, etc...

I think UCLA has a sub par O-line and we have zero sacks?

I'm surprised we haven't seen a couple of rollouts from Crompton. He is mobile--take advantage of it! Also, UT hasn't thrown to the TE. A big problem is that the Vols make mistakes to screw up possessions--a crompton fumble, two penalties on another possession, foster runs into crompton, crompton rushes a throw. Offenses nowadays have to beat single coverage--a lot of it comes down to that: a d will load up to stop the run, leave a db or two in single coverage--and you've got to beat that coverage. If you can't, you struggle. The offense doesn't look a whole lot different from cut's, frankly: I thought Jones would get the ball a bit more. This game is like SOOOOO many UT games in that Fulmer's teams can't thump anybody halfway decent anymore--every game is a struggle. It's time for a beat-down, please.
great post:eek:k:

Is it me or is Jon Crompton telegraphing the snap when he is under center.....watch him when he calls for the snap, he leans back before he gets the ball..in my opinion, this is what caused the fumble earlier in the game....

You get away with this stuff against UCLA, you don't against Florida.

I just wonder about Crompton's mechanics, especially considering he is a junior.

A) The commentators were onto this like white on rice, and you know the UCLA D-Coordinator was onto it sooner.

B) The commantators were also onto this quickly as well.
