Hopefully Crompton will come out more composed and our freakin O line will sack up. Those guys are letting us down thus far.

2nd half run the ball. O-line make it a comfortable pocket to step up into the throw for JC. defense keep doing what you are doing and we will win by 3 td's.

5 starters on the O line and this is the run block we get...we better get it together up front.

We're averaging more than 4.5 per carry. What more do you want from your o-line's run blocking?

They aren't protecting Crompton enough and no one is picking up the blitz very well.

Clawson needs to adjust because they're going to keep blitzing. If we don't adjust, we won't improve the passing game in the 2nd half.

I don't think Vol Fans are worried about losing this game. UCLA's offense is below pathetic. I think we're worried about where we are as a football team for the rest of the season. There's concern about our ranking, our offensive chemistry being ready for conference play, and as usual, the play calling. The best teams went out and made statements this weekend. We aren't, so far.

D looks awesome???? You do realize that UCLA's offense is pathetic! If you play like this against the Gators you will get mauled.

The receivers don't seem to be an issue at the moment.

I think the UCLA D will wear out in the 2nd half and we will see more big gains on the ground. I do want to see more of G.Jones in the 2nd half.

hopefully the offense is just in the "cutting teeth" phase. it should improve as the season progresses.

games like this, however, show that many took david cutcliffe for granted. he wasn't as bad as everyone made him out to be

Don't let Crafts poor judgement in passing cloud your thoughts of our Defense. I'm not saying they haven't looked good, but this isn't even a 1AA offense we are playing tonight.

I like what I've seen from the defense so far.
The same doesn't go for the offense, but if you expected them to look just dandy I would've told you it wasn't going to happen before we started. A new offense takes time to get in and get comfortable, aka the first half. I think we'll pick it up here in the second half and glide to an easy victory. I love what I'm seeing from the defense, but I also realize that's partly because of their offense. Here's to a great second half guys and sorry if you were just made dumber by reading the above.

I don't see a dynamic change in the pass rush from us. That worries me.

I honestly don't think there are any adjustments needed except for:

A) Picking up the Blitz more. They're SHOWING Blitz, and we still can't pick it up.
B) Crompton needs to chill out and play to his abilities.

Defense is playing great. I'm impressed with the play of the D-Line.
