Well put newbie. Welcome to the Nation.:hi:Stand behind a team all the time. We made a lot of mistakes. Weed those mistakes out and go get the rest of the sec. All these so called vol fans on here jumping all over the team and coaches. Just be a fan and support The Tennessee Volunteers. Good and bad.
you're clearly more of a fan since your attitude will help entrench Fulmer even further and Lord knows he bleeds orange.Stand behind a team all the time. We made a lot of mistakes. Special teams play lost this game for us. We left 16 points on the field as a direct result of poor special teams play. The upside is that special teams errors can hopefully be fixed.
It was the worst feeling ever leaving the stadium yesterday after the game, but I still had a fun time cheering on the VOLS with my girlfriend and parents.
Yes this was a horrible loss, but our season is not over. Hopefully, the team and coaches will rally together in time for the thick of the SEC schedule. Tennessee will not challenge for the SEC title this year, but we can still have a successful season by beating some of our biggest rivals.
I am 52 years old and have been a Vol fan since my earliest memories. My best days as a kid growing up were sitting in Neyland Stadium with my dad. I went to probably 15 games before I ever saw them lose.
That game last night was disgusting. The offensive game plan was crap. Get 4 picks in one half and only have 14 points to show for it is inexcusable. I could tell 5 minutes in that we were going to be in trouble. I can't blame the players too much, but to get shredded in the 2nd half by a third string quarterback with the supposed skill we have in the secondary was scary. What will happen with Florida comes to town? Will they hang 60 on us? Why didn't we just pound the ball down their throat? What is the answer?

Oh yea, stand behind your team no matter how inept the leadership of the organization is. Is that your statement?
Let's look at this in a business manner, and make no mistake this is a multi million dollar business for todays college football team.
Let's compare this to a sales team. Ok, in 1998 we were the number one sales team in America and the stockholders are ecstatic. Now forward to 2008 and the sales team has fallen out of the top 20 sales organizations in the country and have been on a decline for the past ten years. Sales goals are not met and the excuses keep coming.
Do you keep the sales force in tact or do you just let it ride and support them no matter how they did not keep up with the competition and make changes?
Hmmmmmmm.................................

Anyone else find it funny that almost the ONLY ones supporting the current regime are brand spankin' noobs?
Even the long time posters who were on the other side since day one have even changed their minds after Monday night.
Change is good.
Sounds to me like you need to go and get another team to pull for. I look at it as football. I want my team and expect my team to win everytime they step on the field. When they do not win, I don't jump all over the team and organizational leaders. We have no control over who coaches, leads, or chooses to play at a great place like Tennessee. So I don't care about the money pulled in from Winning. All I care about is winning with what we have. Sometimes that may not happen the way we think it should. That does not mean the team is not trying. When you become the AD of the Volunteer Nation them we will talk about the sales and business like Atmoshpere.
