The Official Tennessee vs. #2 Alabama Game Thread, 3:30 ET, CBS

At what point do we actually stop defending losing to our big 3 rivals? Each year, we get our brakes beat off and look no closer to closing the gap with Georgia, Florida or Bama. By filing into the stadium, we are telling the admin that we accept this ******** every year. I feel like we have to be intentionally not trying to field a competitive team because we are still dealing with the same **** we dealt with 10 freaking years ago. I’ll always be a fan, but I have been apathetic for the better part of a decade. Something is terribly wrong and I don’t know what it is. We are closer to Vanderbilt than we are the top 3.

I hear you brother but the reality is the constant changes since Kiffen bolted have out us where we are at. I’m not jumping on a new coach just yet but similar results next EM year will determine that.

Bottom line it just stinks because we love the school and team so much. Personally, I’m desperate for a win against a big school but reality is we are better but not there yet. Suppose I’m just becoming numb. I’ll change my name to Linkin Park.....

good grief, Maurer. slide!

they should've called that guy for it. I guess he's getting his now. - don't wish that on him.

And we have HB which was a top 5 QB in the country and was a 5*.
It should have been BM to start if he's healthy enough to play.

It shouldn't have been JG. Even if JG had played lights out (which he didn't), we gain nothing for our future.

I don't care to debate BM or HB, but they both should have seen significant time depending on how this game went.

JG has become a zero sum game
