Apples and oranges though. Wilson had playmakers around them that would eat up tackles. Bituli is a great player and has had to be a beast with all the crappy tacklers he has played with but Wilson was the heart and soul of our team. He flat out willed us to beat Florida in 1998 which led to our National Championship. Sorry, I don’t think you’ll find many that think Bituli is better than Al.

I will do my best to not speak negatively of JG again. He has handled a world of crap and a career behind terrible lines with grace. Proud of him as a person.

1. JG should get a tip of the hat anytime a vol fan passes him for the rest of his life - transfer or not. He has shown a toughness and resilience in his years here that are rare. As much as I do not like his timing in the pocket... at all. He is tough and battles amazingly. I bet he would be an amazing QB in the option... and an amazing receiver.

2. The way we start games, I swear somebody has switched our coaches' game schedules.... I feel like our team rolls of the bus and the coaching staff is like, "Kentucky!?... dangit!! I swear, I thought we were in Missouri this weak!"

I agree . I saw a coach make some great halftime adjustments and in game adjustments that helped his team beat Kentucky.
