I am a huge fan of the Chevys. I think it's cool that they race a car that at least on paper shares a formula with the road car. Front engine, rear drive, v8, sedan. Been a while since we had that.

The Rolex 24 is tomorrow. Kyle Larson, Jamie Mac, AJ Allmendinger, and Brendan Gaughan are the only NASCAR drivers in the field this year.

Stewart suffered a burst fracture of his L1 vertebra and had surgery Wednesday in North Carolina, according to a Stewart-Haas Racing news release issued Thursday. No timetable was given for his return, but the news release indicated that 44-year-old Stewart is expected to make a "full recovery" and will return to Sprint Cup racing this year. No interim driver was named.

I know what he said about not racing after this year, but I'd like to see him take a shot at THE 500.

I think he should atleast race the 500 for a few years. He has good equipment. He can field one of his cars just for that race.
