The "official" Lost thread

Anyone else see the possibility that smokey is either Charles Whitmore or Jack's Dad. The same question for Jacob? I think it's more likely jack's dad as either. He has not been show as aging. Now, who ever either one turns out to "really be" is a different question all together.

Smokie inhabited his body. The same as he did Locke's. I'm pretty sure that's what happened. Also read a theory earlier that pretty much sums up Lost. Basically the Alice in Wonderland trilogy. With the names of the episodes it makes a lot of sense, as well as other subtle hints throughout the shows.

I don't know about Alice. I find out of all the possible, plausible scenarios. I am beginning to think that Lost is like a weight station or a holding area for the dead. Trying to get or getting a second chance at life or redemption. Not a hundred percent sold on this but at this point ?

So you think the island is Purgatory?

I'm not sure about that. Claire referred to Smokie inhabited Locke as her friend, but she also mentioned her father.

I was wondering if any losties think this so called season finally is as good as previous seasons? I think even the directors are confusing themselves. Opinions anyone?

Can't wait! I am going to pop a big bowl of popcorn! Hope we learn something new about a BIG element of the show tonight!!!

Wonder why Kate still lives?

You could tell evil Locke thought about it. Even though you could tell he kind of perceived it as something like a perplexing bother, a fly in his ointment so to speak. Maybe even a little hint of worry. Then there is Claire who stated several times that she would kill Kate for taking her son. But now?

Sayid "appears" to have sold his soul. But his potential "saving grace" is he did it for the love of his life....In the end will he flip back? Hell the way this show is I'm not a hundred percent certain he is on the wrong side.

Still don't know what the sideways jump is all about. Other than to show they all would have know each other regardless. Maybe the writers showing the interconnectivity of a Quantum Universe.

*** the previews for next week said that Ben dies. Can't wait for that.

***10 hours left. 9 shows with the series end-er a 2 hour segment.
