The "official" Lost thread

It could be Rose and Bernard. Maybe they died (somehow for reasons we will find out) right before the H-bomb detonated and their corpses did not travel through time, therefore making their bodies about 30 years old when the plane crashed in season 1.

I could also see it being Kate and Jack. That would be a definite "wow" factor to end the series on, right there.

Anyone else notice that this season episodes are reflecting the same flashback/flashsideways order as season 1 :

Season 1 :
episode 1-2 = Everybody
episode 3 = Kate
episode 4 = Locke
episode 5 = Jack

Season 6 :
episode 1-2 = Everybody
episode 3 = Kate
episode 4 = Locke
episode 5 = Jack

Bring on Charlie..
What bothered me about the episode was that Jack only focused on his name and number on the dial, why didn't they bother to check all the names out....Hurley would had eventually gotten the fact that each of his friends was assigned a number....Hurley has been waiting for ages about an explanation to the numbers(more than even us fans)....most of the answer was right there but the didn't bothered to look. His lack of curiosity is just full of FAIL

Great episode!

Reminded us that jack destroyed his father's casket because he was not in it.

Taught us that candidates can do as they please!

Showed us in absolute clarity that jacob see's the future clearly while evil locke fights it and is uncertain about it or at least rebels against it. If not EVIL enough to try to misdirect to his own agenda while being all knowing?

That certain players sure to infulance the outcome have yet to appear\reappear., like Fairaday and his mother. Along with Charles Whitmore, Desmond and Penny. Along with jack's dad. Also the chrildren of lost.

That Claire died and is infected, not crazy?

That the Islands power's may be more far reaching that thought! Which is a powerful thought!

Michelle Rodriguez Will return (is the Buzz).

looks like the name on 108 is Wallace

so according to the "pop ups" that air with the episodes prior to the new one every week, the parallel universe is what would have happened had they not crashed on the island.

.......that doesn't make any sense

What part doesn't make sense? The thing you have to remember is that Jacob brought everyone to the island. The plane not crashing is just one part of the story. There were other events in each persons past that would be different as well, such as Jack having a kid.

nevermind you're right. i was overlooking some things and forgot in the alternate timeline that the island is underwater as well.

i've also wondered what kind of place charles widmore will have in this when it's all said and done. he was being built up to be THE villain for awhile and now it looks like it's completely strayed away from that. i'm sure they'll make it all tie in somehow.......just something that's been on my mind this season.

Once again Jack screws everything up....DIE JACK DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think he screwed anything up. Jacob is just manipulating him. He knew he would break the mirrors. Everything his happening for a reason, we just don't know what the reason is yet.

He's still a major player. The writers have a habit of almost making you forget about something or someone and then bringing them back into the mix.
