Aaron (sp?) (the baby). I think that's why no babies are born on the island, for fear of the infection. Just guessing, but they did seem to want to get rid of him in a bad way. Or were they just bringing him to their camp to be watched? I can't recall.

Just realized something. Jack knew Desmond before flight 815, but in the opening scene he didn't know him. Kinda screws my theory a little. I give up.

I don't think people are afraid to have babies on the island. They just literally cannot have a baby.

That's right, they met while one of them was running steps in that stadium. Maybe because the course of history was changed from 1977 or something? IDK

If the baby is conceived on the island, mommy would have to leave. But if momma and poppa made the baby off the island, they could come on the island and have the baby.

Kinda weird.

This.

Since the island was sunk in '77, their faiths were altered. I'm still confused to why there are 2 different story lines developing though. One is life back on the island, the other is if the plane never crashed and they land in LAX.

Will be an interesting ending I'm sure...

Does anyone remember something being said to Claire about if she had the baby that he would be evil? I thought I remembered that from the 1st season.

Yea, the psychic did. Said only she could raise the baby or he would be evil. Then later he met Mr.. Echo where he claimed to be a fake. Sure it will lead to something.

What I mean is that the island is set up (by whomever) so that no babies can be born there because, as my theory goes, they are for whatever reason subject to the mysterious infection. Like those who die or come close then come back. Just a theory, but I find it curious that the sickness makes its appearance in the same episode where claire is having her baby in the alternate reality.

If I remember right, those who are already pregnant are ok. But those that conceive on the island die.

Then perhaps something having to do with the moment of conception. A window for the sickness to get in. Seems similar conceptually to dying then coming back. Who the hell knows.

I love the show but something tells me we are going to get robbed of a great ending. Hope not. :unsure:
