The Official Lakers Thread

Yeah, Kobe is playing great. One of the best seasons of his career. He's just learning that 2 stars can't carry a team, let alone 1. It takes about 7-9 guys. Besides Bryant, Howard, Gasol, and Meeks, this team has no quality on the roster. They stink. Without Nash they are worse than the teams with Smush and Mihm...Kobe didn't have another superstar on that team, but there was a lot of decent talent to work with.

Kobe is one of the best scorers of all time and actually a little above his career assist average this season but he doesn't seem to be a fit with all the personel on the roster. Something isn't meshing. The offense needs to be more complete and efficient and less one dimensional (Kobe). I really think that if Kobe went out for an extended amount of time the whole team would play better. JMO. Could be totally wrong.

The offense is too old. Los Angeles didn't address the most glaring weakness from a season ago. They don't have any guards on the roster that are capable of stopping opposing point guards. Adding Steve Nash only hurt them in that category.

He's shooting 31% from 3. He needs to stop shooting 3s. He'd be a much better player if he stuck around the basket.
