The Official Lakers Thread

I tried to DVR the game. Lakers fans have been quiet all year, so I didn't think twice about checking my FB feed bored at my wife's Aunt's house. Every Lakers fan I know was bragging like they won their first championship, and they ruined the outcome for me. LOL

Why would the Lakers do that at all? And are you just screwing around or is this actually being talked about?

Are you worried Dwight would leave at year's end? My Lakers buddy is.

What do you think they could realistically get for Gasol? If they pull off a nice trade with him, I doubt Howard would leave. AK47 + Cunningham from the T-Wolves would be nice, but the T-Wolves would be fools...doesn't mean they wouldn't do it...from my perspective trades are usually imbalanced.

Kobe and Dwight having to be restrained form each other and now Howard has an injury and is out for at least a week. I'd be shocked if Howard stayed in LA.

I can understand Howard's frustration. 26 rebounds yesterday, and they lose. This is not what he signed up for.

I'm not sure. Gasol isn't being used right at all. What idiot would realistically feel that Gasol can be a productive "stretch four" player? That's asinine. I do, however, feel that Gasol has a little left in the tank. I don't it will be for the Lakers, though.

Perhaps a little. I'm not going to be extremely ticked off if he does leave. With Gasol's 19 million going off of the books, Dwight's salary will help cut down the money even more. That will free Los Angeles up with a ton of cash to go after free agents.
