Is it constructed to run P&R with Pau and Nash and then kick it to KB on the wing if that doesn't work (which it will)? Style of play is dictated by the talent on hand. Now on hand is a MVP point gaurd. I guess we will see. Wont we?

Pau getting the ball on the move is going to add a new dimension to our offense. Bynum will be cleaning up on the offensive glass. Kobe will not have to kill himself to get a shot off. Nash should be able to initiate our offense quicker and better than Blake Sessions. It is clearly an up-grade. All these scorers just got a passer. :toast:

Also, Brown's offense needs a ball dominator. What I mean by that is, basically, is someone has to control the ball for his offense to work. That has to be Nash. I don't think Kobe is going to like that.

Because Kobe has made his career off of moving without the ball and being a kick out option.

Exactly. Nash's overall game is great but with the Lakers being a half-court team I still think his greatest asset is eliminated. This move all hinges on Kobe's ego.

All I ever heard was how great Kobe was because he could "get it done" without a star PG, and now people seem to be doubting that the best distributing PG in the league will help his game. Weird.

Kobe is not 25. If we are getting layups because of improved point gaurd play, tell me how that is bad for him. He can still score but Nash will make it easier for every one else to score. Which ultimately helps Kobe. Which is why Kobe wanted him.

It appears that an aging Raja Bell will get bought out of his Utah contract. It will come down between Miami and Los Angeles for his services. I can't stand him at all, but he offers a defensive presence that Los Angeles really needs.

Is Steve Blake even going to see the floor now that they have Nash and Sessions? Bell is actually a decent player, he was just a cancer in the locker room, and couldn't get along with coach. I doubt that would happen in LA, though, so you're probably safe.

The Lakers and Sessions have both agreed to part ways after the signing of Steve Nash. Before signing Nash, they were close to agreeing to a deal.

I'm hoping Los Angeles can either sign back Jordan Hill or pick up Brandon Rush. That would greatly improve the bench, along with the addition of Jamison.

I'll rate this offseason as a success. They picked up two all-stars and two good bench players, Jodie Meeks and Jordan Hill.
