The official "Jeremy Pruitt has been fired" WATCH THREAD.

I think it’s interesting that we haven’t hired any assistant coaches to fill the vacancies. Things are strangely quiet. Either we will see assistant coach hirings or a head coaching change. When we start seeing assistant coaches hired, that’s a signal we are keeping Pruitt. Until then, anything can happen.
came to say the same thing, but there is an investigation and i think it's legit.

most likely the outcome will be that we will self impose a bowl ban (lol) and dunderhead pruitt will be back next year with an "upgraded" staff.

I think that he’d do well. I don’t know if he’d be great. Could be I guess. The problem with Freeze is the past problems Tennessee has had. There’s a long list of embarrassing events including the recent dismissal of a cheerleader. It’s likely that Freeze has learned from his mistakes and isn’t likely to repeat them. It’s also understandable that the administration may not be willing to take that risk.

Sark's re-employment makes UTs position a bit more inexplicable

Other people willing to take a chance isn’t really relevant to Tennessee’s decision making.
What I mean is you and I may think it’s worth the risk. That doesn’t mean they care what we think. And I understand that thought process. I’ve made business decisions that people have disagreed with. At the end of the day I had my reasons, it’s my decision to make, and I really didn’t care if anyone else liked it.

From what I've heard in local media and not from any personal source, it's all about Fulmer right now. He does not want to give up on his hire. Just about everyone else wants a change. The chancellor doesn't want to make the call but she'll be forced to overrule Fulmer if the investigation reveals anything significant. In the meantime, Pruitt dangles in the wind.

The solution to that situation is simple. Fire Fulmer.

Like some others had posted, I was hopeful that he'd learned something during his hiatus and that he'd take the job as a temporary gap filler. Neither seems to have been the case and now we're going to have to go through the same angst as 12 years ago so we can re-fire a championship winning VFL. It was a dumb assed hire but I guess the people who did it are all gone now.

just saw a tweet...Bill O'brien is in currently in tuscaloosa. Could be nothing, could be something.

Lets assume for a second, BOB joins sabans staff, that just goes to show the differences in the two administrations (bama and UT).

Granted, saban is supreme god of football, but he's nothing but a talent collector.

He's pulling in legit names for staff year after year while we can't even bring in retreads to fulfill analyst positions.

Didn’t we just have a former Notre Dame OC as an analyst?

Funny how Alabama has several previous Head Coaches on their staff in some form or fashion and we dont even have 1! Fire Pruitt and Fire Fulmer if necessary! Fire everyone involved in tryin to keep the Bammer Gump! Go back to Hoover Pruitt!

I’m not sure why were bad mouthing Pruitt; I guess none of you have kept up with how he’s turning this program around. With Phil steering this ship we will return to national dominance!

I got 2 words for you.
SABAN
&
CHAMPIONSHIPS

This cryptic crap is just another way to gain views. Josh knows there’s a large enough portion of the fan base that want every hot/cold take pertaining to Pruitt possibly getting fired. This whole clown show is tiring and kind of a cheap attempt to stir UT fans... because UT fans are the loudest right now and whether he admits it or not it’s aimed right for us.
