The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

I am very surprised at what this team has done so far. I know the Jags are bad but that was a good win without a bunch of our key players. 3 more wins and I think we are in the playoffs. 4 straight wins and 5 out of 6. Kind of get a mini bye week to get some guys healthy. Before the season started I think I said 6 wins at most. Now could be 9 or 10. Still have Bills, at Lions, Titans, at Chiefs and Texans last game of year (hopefully they will be resting guys) all games Colts can win.

That went about how I expected minus the 3 defensive and special teams touchdowns. Not a terrible set back Steelers and Chargers lost so still on track.

Good win, conference win and maybe 2 more wins puts this team in the playoffs. Got to keep pulling for Steelers and Bengals to lose.

I think this week's game with the Lions is a bad matchup for us. We are still struggling on the road and Stafford has a lot of weapons at his disposal. Perhaps the Colts can do what they did last week, keep it low scoring, bleed the clock on long drives and frustrate the Lions. If we get behind early, could get ugly.

I expected to lose this one and probably big. Another come back and big win.

Great comeback. Luck has great attitude for a QB - no matter what mistakes he makes, just keep firing away.

He is at his best at the end of half and end of game when he gets to go no huddle and just throw it around. Should pretty much be a playoff lock now. The Steelers and Bengals have tougher schedules the last 4 games here we have an edge on both right now, plus they have to play each other still. Out of the top 4 seeds I would rather play Ravens in first round

I still worry about just making the playoff. Since there isn't much chance of beating any of the top 4 seeds, it doesn't matter to me who they play if they make it. I guess I'd prefer Denver so that when they lose, at least Peyton can keep playing.

Next year, who moves on from the Colts? Freeney? If we draft somewhere in the 20-24 position, what defensive players will be available in Round 1?

I don't think they can beat any of the top 4 teams but the Ravens are the most likely, I don't trust them at all.

Freeney will be gone, I believe Collie will be gone also, Powers may be done in Indy also. Maybe Oglree From UGA, Jonathan Banks from Miss St, Okafor from Texas. Would be 3 I would like.

Need a reliable CB and a rush linebacker. OL as well. Keep in mind they have tons of cap space at the end of this season. I would love for them to go get Ryan Clady and move Castanzo to RT

Yeah, those 3 definitely gone. Seems like the CB class this year is weak (if Ammerson is the best prospect, I'm not impressed). Is the big safety from LSU going to come out?

I think he is a senior but I could be wrong. I would take Jonathan Banks CB from Miss St. I would be surprised if Amerson was taken before the 3rd round.

Good to get a win when the team really didn't play well at all. Should be a lock for the playoffs especially seeing the steelers and bengals both lost

The refs really struggled today

Although it would clinch the division for them, I'll be rooting for the Texans tonight. Would like to see Denver get the second bye over the Patriots.

Did you see that Jim Caldwell has been made the offensive coordinator today following the firing of Cam Cameron? That is mystifying to me.

All I want is to play the Ravens in the first round. They are still probably a better team but they are the worst of the top 4 seeds.

Yea I saw that, I have no idea why in the world they would want him. Maybe it was their only choice this late in the season. He was their QBs coach.

Read a report today saying that the good season this year has a lot of free agents expressing interest in Colts. Also, it puts the Colts in better negotiating position. I am very hopeful we can find help for OL via free agency.

Give Luck a better OL next year and his completion % will go up and interceptions go down. Future is getting brighter and brighter all the time!!!!!!!!

I want Ryan Clady bad. Move Castanzo to RT and instantly that O line is really good.

Future is very bright

I think the Broncos will use the Franchise tag on Clady if they can't resign him. But who knows?

Colts pretty thin at RB now with Brown out for the season. Next year is his last contract year with the Colts, there is no way they will resign him - just too injury prone.

If the Ravens continue to implode, the Colts have a decent chance against them if it comes to that in the Playoffs.

I hope not I really want Clady

Yea Brown is probably gone, that was a wasted 1st round pick. Ballard has been great all year.

That's my hope. They are probably the only divisional winner that we could beat.
