I wish they would try to get some draft picks out of Freeney instead of just letting him go. I would hate to see another Colts legend leave town, but Freeney just doesn't fit in this defense.

I believe they tried to this off season but I don't know what you could get for an older DE who was due like 14 mil this season. I think they would get comp picks for him in 2014 draft right? I know that's not really what you meant but that's the most likely thing to happen.

Yeah, you're right. His price tag is too high. Bittersweet time to be a Colts fan. Watched the end of an amazing era and hopefully the beginning of something better.

Terrible performance. Receivers dropped several passes, Luck was badly over throwing his receivers all game, D is terrible. Need to win next 3 out of 4 but highly unlikely.

Good W yesterday. D stepped up, they look so much better with Angerer out there. Offense wasn't sharp at all in the second half.

So, I haven't been watching you guys any this year. What should we expect next week? Do you guys have a run game? Or is the offense looking like Manning 2.0?

The real question that interests me is do you have a better defense than Buffalo? :)

BTW, if you're wanting to make Luck look good in his rookie season... If he's on track to break any franchise rookie records or anything like that, we can help you out with that.

Run game is much better and they at least try to run. Vic Ballard had 20 runs yesterday for 84 yards. D is better than Buffalo but they are not great, Angerer came back yesterday and he made a huge difference. If Mathis and/or Redding are back this week that would be huge.

Haven't seen the Titans at all this season except in clips so what can we expect from you guys? I know Johnson had a big game last week. Will Locker be the starter?

We have a better defense than Buffalo but that isn't saying much. Offensively, we are more balanced this year and prefer to keep the game low scoring.

Hasslebeck should be starting the next game (I believe I heard that)


Also, I get the feeling everyone in the league might have a better defense than Buffalo (and probably TN).

Josh Chapman will practice for the first time today. Whenever he gets out there this could be one of the pieces of the puzzle that this D has lacked so far.

Thanks. Hope he starts to see action then. What is Donald Brown's status for next game? I read that Vontae Davis had an excellent game against Browns - when was the last time you hear the words Colts, cornerback, and excellent all together in the same sentence???

I don't know if he will play or not, but if Ballard runs the ball like he did last Sunday I don't think it matters much. We need to get Mathis back this week for sure. Haha never. Powers and him are a pretty good duo, best we have had.
