You'd better hope it doesn't because if FF 15 bombs, that may be the end of the franchise.

It needs to sell 10 million copies to recoup development costs. The only SquareEnix game to top 10 million in sales would be 7. I just don't see it reaching that number, and it may be a good thing for the series.

Final Fantasy 7 remake will outsell it and help save the franchise.

Xbox One Slim $299 per leak. Will see if true. Of course I have a meeting during the Microsoft press conference. Will definitely watch the replay.

There's no way unless they're planning on selling multiple versions with smaller HDD's. I could see maybe 399.99 for the 2TB model, 349.99 for the 1TB model, and 299.99 for a 500GB model.

Based on everything shown so far, Horizon Zero Dawn is still the most impressive game I've seen. Battlefield 1 is probably the 2nd most impressive thing I've seen so far. Mass Effect Andromeda, from what little we actually saw, looked really good too but I need to see more. Plus it's EA and I always have this feeling in the back of my mind they'll find a way to screw it up. Prey looked good, Dishonored 2 looked good, and Skyrim Special Edition looked good. Titanfall 2 looked pretty good but I'm not jazzed about the single player story. A boy and his mech? I'm not too keen on the idea of your character having a "friendship" with his equipment like in Iron Giant or something.

I agree. Horizon is the one I'm most interested in. As far as multiplayer battlefield looks really awesome. I watched the hour of live gameplay and thought it looked great. I would've liked them to show a few different maps, but from what they did show it was nice.

Yeah I remember a time when FF was at the top of the food chain. Now they are an afterthought.

Battlefield is one of the franchises that I wish I was into more than I am because it always looks so impressive. I'm not just a military FPS guy. Especially one like Battlefield that requires so much teamwork to play.

You watch though, I'm calling it right now. Game of the show will be Zelda Wii U.

Rumor is the new Xbox One Slim is going to cost 299.99. If so, that's an amazing price for 4K playback AND a 2TB hard drive!

I'll say this much, I'm not a big fan of Microsoft but I give Phil Spencer a lot of credit. He's really managed to turn this "sow's ear" situation with Xbox One into as much of a silk purse as he possibly could. They're not going to catch up to Sony and the PS4 but damned if anyone can say he hasn't tried.

That's a good price for what you're getting. It kind of sucks that they are releasing a new ps4 and Xbox one this soon though. Feels like we just spent our money on the new console just for something better to come out right behind it.

Agree that they will never catch the PS4 but he has made the Xbox One successful now. Especially after the start.

Man the media is really roasting EA over their conference. Saying for as little as they actually showed, they could've just gone this year without doing one. I have to agree that for the exception of Battlefield 1, they showed very little in terms of actual game play. And enough of the dev diaries! If you have nothing to show, you have nothing to show. Stop trying to disguise it with these, "we can't show you anything but we'll show our devs who are on stuff" videos.

Also, why does EA feel the need to inform us every time something is running on Frostbyte? Like who gives a ****?

Looking forward to:

Mass Effect Andromeda
The Walking Dead Season 3
Halo Wars 2
The Legend of Zelda NX/Wii U
The release date of The Last Guardian

And to see if the rumors of Dead Rising 4 and God of War 4 are true.

MS conference underway. Confirmed Xbox Slim STARTING at 299.99. Meaning their will be different HDD sizes. My guess is there will be 500gb, 1TB, and 2TB models ranging from 299.99 to 399.99.

Gears of War 4 shown. Cross buy between Xbox One and Windows 10. If you buy it you can play it on both Xbox One and PC. Looks pretty good but not my thing. Confirmed date October 11th 2016.

The Final Fantasy gameplay during xbox's conference is one of the worst things I've ever seen at an e3.

Forza Horizon 3 looked great. Re Core disappointed me though and that was one of the X1 exclusives I was looking forward to most.

So far, Forza Horizon 2, Dead Rising 4, and State of Decay 2 are the best things shown. Scalebound looked cool but that main character's voice was annoying as hell.
