The Official Denver Broncos Thread

What does everyone think of Denver's draft? I think it was good. They addressed all the areas where they had a need, especially on the D-line with Williams and Smith. Grabbing Monte Ball was also a big addition IMO. Getting a quarterback in the seventh round was a bit of a surprise, but I guess they need depth behind Manning and Osweiler.

Broncos traded their 5th round pick (I think)...what did they get for it? I liked their draft too.

I think they traded their fourth round pick to Green Bay for fifth and sixth round picks. They got Smith with their new fifth round pick and receiver Tavarres King with their own fifth round pick. They got tackle Vinston Painter in the sixth.

I'm ok with the draft. I would have preferred Lacy to Ball if only because I'm afraid of Big Ten plodders. Look at the defensive talent in the draft from the Big Ten. But I've also learned to trust Elway's drafting skills. He seems to hit more than most.

Broncos HC John Fox taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack, via @mortreport and me.

I truly hope that he comes out of this ok. Prayers for him and his family.

Manning passed the 4000 yard mark for the 13th time. It's an NFL record.

28-21 Broncos in the third.

Peyton may finish the game with 6 TDs.

He's unreal. I think he has 3-4 years left in him too.

Its so fun watching Manning play, wish I had the football IQ to understand it.

No doubt. It would be fun to be inside his head during a game.

He and Decker are going off. Decker has four TD catches from Manning.

He's played well. I just saw where his passing yardage is an NFL record for this point in the season.

Chiefs looked dead with the ball deep in their own territory, but Smith is shredding the Broncos secondary right now.
