The Official Denver Broncos Thread

His passes have no velocity, even for the short throws. He shouldn't be a starting QB at this point. If he can get through the season without getting injured or benched, then he will be lucky.

Watching Peyton throw the ball now, makes me think of what I would look like on the football field. It's sad.

He didn't have much zip on the ball when he broke the TD record. It's all about timing. As you can see from the last 3 drives.

Kubiak better get the hell out of Peyton's way. One of Peyton's only faults is his seemingly unwavering and automatic respect for authority.

They should not abandon Kubiak's system yet. It seems hasty. Yeah, they can be better right now if they run Manning's system, but they can't win it all and run Manning's system. They are going to have to have a good balanced attack.

Give them more time to work on it. 4 new linemen and the 2nd best lineman has only been on the team for 3 weeks.

Arm strength isn't so much the problem as lack of touch and accuracy due to a lack feeling in his fingertips.

He hasn't had the feeling in his fingers since the neck surgeries. That included two of the best seasons of his career. He was on pace to have another outstanding season until the quad injury.

I don't know. I hope huffines is right and the struggle is more the new system and lack of reps. After last night it's rely hard to write him off just yet.

Their game against NE will tell how far they go with that offense - hopefully PM will get things ironed out by then

I don't think he's going to get that much better. He makes a few bad throws per game and that's probably not going to change because of anything he does.

Now if the offense can start running the ball and the WRs can get more separation then we will perceive him to be playing a lot better. He is making mistakes because everything is on him. They can't rely on Manning so much to make plays. They can't be in 3rd and long every f-ing drive.

The run game won't be as effective without Manning getting the safeties out of the box. Which Manning can't do with a bad pocket. Overall, it might not matter if this defense can keep it up. Manning could do just enough. I know pundits love offense, but historic defenses are pretty good come playoff time.

The Broncos' defense has scored three second-half touchdowns this season -- the same number of offensive touchdowns scored by the Broncos in second halves.

What is up with DT? His play-making ability just isn't there this year. No separation and his hands aren't reliable.

Dude, this offense. I don't get it. That's 2 easy first downs the WRs f***ed up with the game on the line.
