The Official Denver Broncos Thread

@SportsCenter: Broncos DE Antonio Smith being investigated for child abuse, no charges have been filed.

Clady out for the season. This line is going to be not good. That being said, Kubiak is good at squeezing out production from mediocre lines.

Clady was one of the biggest reasons Peyton picked Denver, IMO. What a disappointment he's been.

He was on the cutting block, at least that's what I believe. Now, it doesn't matter.

He definitely wasn't the same last year, but still important...but probably not worth whatever they pay him.

I think it's interesting that early predictors are placing the Chiefs and Chargers ahead of the Broncos. I think there's a very small chance that happens. The coaching staff was significantly upgraded with Wade Phillips and Gary Kubiak. And Manning has dominated the AFC West since he got here.

I'm worried about the O line, but I think the D will be significantly better.

I'm not sure the Broncos should pay Demaryius. Not a whole lot of rings come with expensive WRs.

I have to agree. It was quite sad. Thankfully the QBs traded pic sixes and Manning lead his team to more field goals.

He is smart enough to go down when he sees a defender coming at him, but a hit to the blind side could really be serious, the neck problem is just to scary -- really wish he would have retired while he is healthy.

I actually thought Manning's arm looked stronger than last year. It's a brand new system and he didn't get that many preseason snaps because the new line wasn't trustworthy yet (and as you can see he took 4 sacks yesterday).

His timing was way off, but I believe it will get better. The running game didn't do crap for the first 2.5 quarters and they are going to have to rely on it. The passing part of the playbook is set up by the run game in this system. It's going to look more like the Edgerriin James era Colts.

Arm strength isn't so much the problem as lack of touch and accuracy due to a lack feeling in his fingertips.

Manning is so slow he is a sitting duck behind this line. I expect him to get into a better rhythm. He is ahort on reps right now coming into the season. He won't be very dangerous until they can protect him.

That deep one to Sanders was money.
