Shaq went through a light practice today, Doc said he is confident Shaq will play in this series. They are hoping to get him in Game 2.

Celtics look even older against a better team than NY. And that's against a Spoelstra "coached" team.

Shaq should be in a retirement home, his career is over. He gave it a nice shot earlier this year but age is not on his side.

C's got a good win tonight. I still expect the Heat to win the series but if the Celtics want any chance they need to win game 4 IMO.

Shaq just looks bad out there, he was limping the whole game. I can see this being his last season.

Pierce & KG decided to show up tonight. KG dominated Bosh tonight, we need him to continue that if we want a chance.

Rondos injury just looked plain NASTY! I didnt expect him to come back but I bet the adrenaline helped out w/ the pain some. He will be very sore the next few days & I would be surprised if he played Monday night.

Rondo will play & start tonight. If the C's want a chance at winning this series they have to win tonight IMO. For that to happen KG & Pierce or Allen will need to have big nights.

Tough loss tonight, Celtics had alot of chances to bust the game open & still win the game at the end. The last play of regulation was not drown up like that, it was suppose to go to Ray but the play never developed thus resulting in Pierces bad shot. Rondo gave what he had tonight, we needed KG to step up like he did in Game 3 & he didnt. It's going to be tough to come back, I see the Heat closing this out in Game 5.

Would like to see Boston show some life but not getting my hopes up, expecting the Heat to close this out tonight. Celtics are just old & injured.

Read an article today that suggested Ainge should trade Rondo & Ray Allen in the offseason to start the rebuilding process. We still have Jermaine & Shaq signed through next season, KG through 2013, & Pierce through 2014. When Ainge made those moves back in '08 we all knew they had a 3-4 year window to win a title, well that title came in year one. Only if this team could have stayed healthy the past 2 season what could have been.

Going to be a long road back to the top.

Boston assembled this team about 3 years to late. Had these guys came together earlier they would have won multilple titles.

I agree.

Reading a few things today it seems that Doc Rivers will come back for 1 last year, Ray Allen will pickup his player option to come back & I was wrong on KG's contract next season is his last. Looking like the Big 3 & Doc want to go out together at one time, they are going to give it one last chance to go out winning a title.

Ainge will need to re-sign Green, Davis, & West. Then find some young energetic post players that can actually contribute, we need a scorer off the bench & someone w/ energy.

Doubt it. Rondo is one of the most important players on the team and if the big 3 came together any earlier it would have either been with Rondo as a rookie when he was terrible, or Sebastian Telfair.

This team is very good without a quality PG, but I don't think they are winning a title without a quality PG.

Those 3 at a younger age made any PG look serviceable. Take a look at Miami for an example.

I wonder if Bynum will be an option.

I really doubt it.

I know this is probably impossible but a Boston sports writer mentioned yesterdy that at the end of the '11-'12 season Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Delonte West, Jermaine O'Neal, Shaquille O'Neal, & Von Wafer all come off the books to open salary cap, next summer is when Dwight Howard becomes a FA. They are saying if he does hit FA then the Celtics will make a run at him.

Although I fully expect Howard to end up in L.A. or Chicago.

That would certainly be a step in the right direction for the future of the team. Howard is a beast!

As one that follows Purdue basketball very closely I'm in heaven with the C's drafting Johnson & Moore!!! Great draft and will give us some scoring and defense off the bench.

Who in their right mind would do that trade? Unless NO ownership knows he isn't going to re-sign, then you get what you can get I suppose.

By the way, hope the Celtics go 0-66.

Chris Broussard is reporting that after last season Danny Ainge tried to get Kendrick Perkins back from OKC by wanting to trade Rajon Rondo/Jeff Green for Michael Westbrook/Kendrick Perkins

Yahoo is also reporting that Ainge is trying to trade Rondo before the season starts, rumor is Celtics/Pacers/Hornets could be working a 3 team trade that would send Rondo to Indiana - Grainger or Hibbert to NO - Paul to Boston.

If I'm Sam Presti, that's not only a no, it's an "are you f@%king kidding me?"
