The Official #5 Tennessee @ South Carolina Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN

Where's all that blowout energy you all had 👀👀. I'm concerned also 🤣

Obviously these last two games are ones we should win and importantly need to win, but upsets can and do happen several teams each year, and losing to SCar or Vandy would be embarrassing but are very much possible if we are off. All of this worrying about what the committee might do in scenarios that involve other teams final results is premature until we handle our own business.

Getting our asses handed to us. Embarrassing actually. Not a chance in hell we make it into the playoffs, even if we win. I'm a Vol through and through but I've watched enough football over the years to know when a team is overrated and we are overrated. Hate away but it is true. This defense is straight-up trash.

The kryptonite to this team is a raucous crowd on the road. It totally changed the game vs UGA. Pitt and LSU crowd not a factor near as much due to the early start times. We’re going to struggle to win this game
On a neutral field, Tennessee very well may be the best team. But you have to learn to handle hostile environments.

Idk bro, Heup had little problem turning a average offense into #1. What has Banks done? You going to credit him for what Gardner has done?
Pitt/LSU/UK were games where the defensive play calling was set up to maximize their weaknesses and build our strengths. If you think those games were called poorly, you’re not having an honest discussion. Look at the players on this defense. Garner is a massive part of that and clearly has the best unit, but to say it’s all dline and zero play calling is silly. It’s also silly to crap on our coaches when most of the coaching in this conference sucks
