I was so excited... Then scrolled down and saw that.

I have a friend obessed w/ the concept of a "truck AR pistol" (his words). I was going to tell him to shut up and buy a couple of these.

It's a good pistol at a smoking hot price. I'm not surprised they moved so quickly.

CZs have a cult following here in the States, but certainly earned their reputation as a hard use pistol.

It's an arsenal, it has a milled receiver, which makes it a more rigid platform. Top notch AK all around. In my opinion, it's only rival is the banned from importation Chinese poly-techs and norincos.

Thanks. Yep these are pretty good builds. Cold Hammer Forged barrel also.

You can always go very high end and get one from Jim Fuller at Rifle Dynamics. He builds one heck of an AK.

Unless he's hunting a man and is using a silencer, I don't see the advantage to that round. Of course, someone will probably correct me.

With that range limitation the BO would be sufficient. The most common analogy is it's an AR 30-30.

The .308 is another animal entirely with much higher velocity. (and all the pros/cons that come with that)

.308 ammo will always be much more readily available.

Agreed. While I'm not going to admit the 300BO wasn't a solid purchase I should have gone with the 6.8.

With a can the BO is pretty fun.
