Just curious if someone might know...

Is the going rate for an inexpensive box of 50 count .22lr ammo about $4 now or is it found a little cheaper?

You can get a 500 count box of Thunderbolts at Dunham's for under $30. Don't know about 50 ct.

Bump.

Anyone got any new **** they want to share?

Well, I've found that the 65gr Sierra GameKing and 24.5gr of Varget with Rem 71/2 primers is a damned accurate load out of one of my rifles. Still need to chrono and see if there's room for velocity improvement without hurting accuracy.

Not sure that's what you were looking for but it's "something".

bbl and twist?

was in a shop today looking at a pistol, There were 2 guys behind the counter, and they were talking..One said yep it's $300 hundred bucks, the guy holding the package of bubble wrap, was unwrapping a AR lower, so I said what is is..The guys says theres a shop in town manufacturing blackout .300's but they don't have a license to sale so we're doing a FFL transfer for them for an air force officer in town. Then the guys pulls out the upper , and there both complete, with trigger group, buffer, bolt group etc...

I said $300 for the lower, and they said no... $300 for everything...

I threw a CC down and said I'll take it.. The first guy says there's a 2-star officer that's coming in to pick it up, and he was coming in Fri or Sat to get it...

I'm going in Monday to see if it's truly a .300 AR for $300 bucks.

is this the place to ask about a pump shot gun price?

what do the new ones go for and what would be the price of a decent used one ?

it will be used for home protection,so it isn't going to be doing much other than within reach at night

I want a 12 gauge, something that will be reliable is all that is needed, nothing fancy

I gave the one Dad gave me to my nephew and I need a replacement for it,he needed one and I knew that Dad wanted him to have it,so I passed it along in the family, so I made him swear it would go to one of his future kids, that was fair, wasn't it? :)

Mossbergs.are good for the money. You could get 1 at Walmart for Petes sake. I have a pistol grip 12 "persuader"...thumb safety. Added a fold out shoulder stock and still only have 249 in it. All black. 7 plus1...tube goes all the way to the end of the barrel.

that is true, how much is a regular one at Wally World ? I tried there site and it was a pain,so i quit fooling with it

I wouldn't mine having a good used one, according to the price

and one that doesn't carry fame is a must lol

I had asked my Dad if he wanted me to give it to him and he had told me it was OK to pass it on down before he had passed away,so i know it is in good hands :)

I'm looking to spend around 150 bucks on one, maybe a bit more if it is a really good one

Keeping your budget in mind, I'd have a look at the H&R shotgun line. They are a good shotgun for a great price. Also, cruise the pawn shops, you can always find decent deals on mossberg's or Remington 870's. Cheers
