I used to but I havent in a long, long time. You can find suitable AR 500 steel target so reasonably priced today, it doesnt make sense for me to mess with it.
I shoot steel a lot and if you uses the apropriate thickness of AR 500 steel at the apropriate distance, you wont have to replace them.
I foresee someone getting in trouble tonight with their significant other by wandering through the house and slicing the pie at doorways.
The stories she could tell.....
I'll send you the "Friendly Express Fiasco" offline. Takes a while to tell, but a guaranteed laugh at my expense. If I forget, remind me in a few days.
Depends. What do you want it to do?
Forewarning, the name AR10 and inexpensive don't collide often.
I built a long range AR and I love the adjustable stock I put on it.
Edit: Wrong AR.
I want it to shoot when I pull the trigger.
I'm not being sarcastic. I don't have a huge need of bells and whistles.
I currently have a Stag Arms AR15. Flat top with a simple red dot scope that does everything I need.
The reason I want an AR10 is I want a .308.
I like to keep my ammo types to a minimum. I have 3 deer rifles in .308 and I also have a .338 mag deer rifle.
So, .223, .308, and .338mag in my major rifle platform is all the variation I want.
I have shotguns, .22's, and a .30 cal m1 carbine so I have the other fun guns also.
Only 1 9mm pistol, so that's probably my next buy in a compact for carry purposes.
Edit, I would want to hunt deer with it so I would equip with decent optics.
