Got some much needed trigger therapy over the weekend at the in-laws house. As I was winding down my 6 year old approached me and had decided it was time to shoot a gun for the first time. We frequently talk about gun safety, but I've never pressured my kids to try shooting. After reviewing our safety rules multiple times we popped off the last 5 22lr rounds I had left out of the SW 22 Victory. So much fun.
Anyone experimented with making your own steel targets?
Anyone have a favorite stock for their AR? Or AR sized buffer tube?
I tend to think the B5 System SOPMOD or Bravo is the bomb. If I need a slim design, the Magpul CTR fits the bill.
I still have a UBR Gen 1 that I want to put on a precision build rig eventually. Eventually...
Didn't they come out with a 2.0 UBR that was A5 compatible?
Apparently so:

However, I have an old bird in hand. Not sure I'm wanting to drop the coin on a new one.
I think I'm going to give the Fab Defense GL core a shot. I like the look, it seems to have a nice cheek weld and gets good reviews...not that this remotely even attempts to answer your question.Anyone have a favorite stock for their AR? Or AR sized buffer tube?
