Gotta give Pearl credit. He loaded up on guards/shooters. Impressive team. Slow start but they're rolling now. Won't be surprised to see them in the final 4.
Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they roll the tarheels. I'm more impressed with their smothering D and depth. They just wear you out.

Yeah we should. Teams are going to take Grant away. Our fate rests with our guards. We go as far as Bone, Turner and Bowden take us.
Don't forget Schofield, he is capable of willing this team to victory by himself at times. GO VOLS!

Iowa fans think they have some hope since we pulled a close one with Colgate...Reality is Colgate would have beaten a lot of the teams in the tourney with how they played against us, most definitely including Iowa.

Iowa has lost 6 out of their last 9 games. Which is more than we lost over the course of the whole season. We don't lose to mediocre teams. It takes a special performance from a good team to beat us. 3 points shots are our weakness, but it takes a really good showing from there and everywhere else to beat us. We are consistent and balanced enough to overcome a good night of shooting. We've done it multiple times over the course of the season. No way we lose this one.

In the most Tennessee thing ever.......If we beat Iowa we get the hottest team in the tournament. Sheesh. We are so cursed. Lol Oh well gotta do it the hard way. Lets do it.

Ill say this. I always said Pearls best teams were when we played small ball here. Once he changed and tried going to the 6'5s -6'7s like Hopson and McRae the teams were still good but the 3 ball wasnt as effective and our defensive tenacity wasnt the same. This Auburn team is small and quick with bigs that can shoot the 3 ball. And only Wiley really that bruises down low. The other bigs are ready for long rebounds. With this type of team thats what you need. Thats why we rarely got the rebound in the massacre we took in SEC tournament final. Our bigs the rebounds shot long over their heads. We needed one or two of them about 6-8' feet from basket.

In most cases, that's true, but Pearl has 5. Iowa has 4. Hard to imagine all of them going cold at the same time.

Do we really know that Iowa has 4? There are 4 guys that shoot at least 38%, but two of them only average single digit points. So, they aren’t volume shooters. Kyle has shot 42% from 3 this year, but we know he doesn’t shoot it much.

I just don’t think this Iowa team consistently as well as some are insinuating.

War Eagle Wallace said on his periscope this morning that the team looks gassed.. coming from someone close to the program. Shouldn’t be the case.

If Captain Pierce was from Maine and Corporal O"Reilly was the one from Iowa, why aren't they called the Radars instead of the Hawkeyes?

Should be a win but I’m still extremely nervous... it may just be my BVS, but this team has worked so hard and I don’t wanna see their season end with an early exit just like last year. This is our time to win. Go Vols!!!

As a minister, I don't appreciate an 11:10 central time tip. My congregation will be warned about spoilers.
I expect Admiral to have a huge game today.
