He is not hard to officiate. The rules are supposed to be applied equally and not based upon size. 3-seconds, walks and reach overs are never called on him.

I 100% expected a loss to Purdue or Duke to end this season, especially AFTER seeing the bracket.

Santi getting sick was just **** luck, you knew other guys were likely gonna catch it too. But only our second Elite Eight & better officiating in the second half and we were good enough to be a Final Four team.

Not gonna lie: this one really hurts. I'm pushing 50. I'm not gonna say this is the best UT team I've seen in my lifetime (too young to remember the Ernie and Bernie years) but it's in the top 5, without question. A win today would've meant a very winnable game next weekend. Would we have beaten UConn in the finals? Probably not. But you never know. Most of all, I wanted this for Barnes, JJJ, and Vescovi. And yeah, I suspect it's gonna come out that Aidoo had some flu symptoms, too, which would explain why he never came back into the game in the last 18 minutes, even after Awaka fouled out.

ZZ had a tough night shooting, got some really clean looks from deep. Him being on would have been the difference. Think his legs were just not there, he played too many minutes imo and as hard as he goes on defense hard to blame him.

As fun as DK has been, as a team we didn’t win a lot of games where he went off. Almost like the guys just decided to watch him go.

It's a chicken or the egg situation.

I'm of the opinion that most of those games our role players were in a funk and Knecht dried to overcompensate.

If the role players were clicking, Knecht generally allowed the defense to collapse on him and pass out of double teams for them to take advantage.

Having a jumper is nice, but his biggest problem is that he doesn't utilize the one asset that sets him apart most games; his size.

As a 7 footer, everything within 4 feet of the basket needs to be automatic and he needs to be monster on the boards.

Yep, but some of our fans act like he was ball hawking too much.

The biggest travesty is to have a Naismith Finalist and him to get nowhere near the same whistle as the other four guys get.

We got the Wish version of him at tourney time. As I like to say, we got Jonas Aidon't instead of Jonas Aidoo. He was 11-30 shooting in 4 NCAAT games. And that would be frustrating if he were a 6-2 shooting guard, but he's a 7-0 power forward. Just pathetic.

I know my emotions are high right now, but if he tries to work us for more NIL in the off-season, let him go. He disappeared in basically all of the biggest games this year.

Knoxville media should unpack those comments in direct and forceful terms and with a boatload of clips to illustrate the points. But they won't. Not having a local paper hurts us.

Absolutely hilarious to be this smug when he has zero chance to have a successful professional career, outside of being a side-freak show attraction in Greece or China. Guess it’s good for him for getting it in while he can - he’s about to go the way of the dodo bird, as far as relevance goes.

Also a big eff you to the posters on here who clearly have been waiting on pins and needles to turn on their "NegaVol" mode the minute they realized we weren't going to win. I'm talking the ones that get almost giddy with delight posting about Barnes and us losing.

Seriously, go pound sand and go root for someone else. I don't want you rooting for any UT team. Most of them do this in every sport, football, baseball, women's basketball. Just get bent.

I’m thinking the Philippines or China. Either way after one more weekend, we don’t to watch that freak show anymore and I’m elated about that. No more media slobbering and leg humping.
