We played against him and WF in the 2018-19 season. Sarr played 25 minutes and had 4 pts and 3 rbs. Kyle Alexander ate his lunch in perhaps his best game as a Vol, in which he had 19 pts and 8 rbs on 9-10 shooting.

We actually were recruiting him too, IIRC. He was playing on some pro level teams in France but foregoing getting paid. Some people expected more from him as he was highly sought after.

Folks that have followed him have compared him to a Tyler Smith type player, if so he's an important part probably 2-3 years down the road but someone that could flash some this season. Who knows what rosters will look like until they get this virus mess under control.

Man I feel a bit complete.

Football team finally has striped pants again (and orange pants back). Basketball team finally has a road version that matches their home uniforms.

I kind of wonder if the Lady Vols will now try to get a more throwback look. Seems like everyone is kind of moving away from the 2015 rebrand, which is good since I always connect that to Butch Jones.

A little history that Kevin O’Neill took a dump on has been fully restored. Tennessee and Oklahoma were the last two schools (D-1?) that were grandfathered in with both a school name AND a nickname on their jerseys. He took “Volunteers” off of the jerseys. He was/is an ***hole.

I have to admit, as I've gone back and watched games from the last 25 years or so on YouTube and at the time I liked them but now I think many of the looks during the Pearl years are pretty not great. Also the really oversized look in hindsight is terrible.

I hope so. The one he wore last year looked like it was made for women’s volleyball. Chism is the king of the headband game.
