Not going to happen, get over it. Cheer for the vols and stand behind us. Those guys played their ass off today. :realmad:Stephens is exactly where he supposed to be. We, the Vols, NEED a QB, putting another bad one in is not the answer. GET OVER IT.

If Crompton starts over Stephens, I think that says a lot about where the staff thinks Jon is compared to Stephens. Stephens probably won't start another game here at UT barring an injury. Bray will start as a true freshman.

Correction: UT has one awful QB, and one horrendously awful QB.

The only thing I'm saying is Stephens doesn't make the big mistakes that Crompton makes. Stephens won't put up big numbers, but he also won't throw 7 INTs in 3 games.

Really is this still going on? It seem that we should let the coaches Coach. They are there everyday watching the players. I just don't believe Kiffin and Co. don't know what they are doing. I believe they want to win ever bit as bad as You and I. Give it a rest.

I think you're confusing Kiffin with Fulmer. Fulmer played the seniority card. Why on earth would Kiffin not play Stephens if Stephens was better? No one can answer that question b/c Stephens IS NOT better.

We simply DO NOT have a top talent at QB so we just gotta make do with what we got. And like it or not, our BEST option is JC. NS has done absolutely NOTHING in his time at Tennessee to prove himself any more reliable. Let's just bide our time until next year when Bray arrives on campus and get another top 5 QB in 2011's class. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!

I don't see them playing anybody because they're a senior. Looks like they're playing the best talent they got at the position, freshman or senior. They see Stephens every day, if he had what it takes I don't think there would be the slightest hesitation to put him in. These coaches are going to do what puts them in a position to win.

Sure. I know it is unfathomable how bad we are at QB right now but sometimes there are no other answers. We just suck at QB period. Nothing will help at this moment in time.

I'll be the one laughing when you are calling for Stephens to be replaced next year.

I haven't been a fan of Crompton either, but there has to be a reason that CLK is sticking with him, other than the fact that he is a senior. IMO, Crompton played much better than expected today, CLK says he's the guy, so Crompton is our QB. Get over it.

I do cheer for the vols that is why i hate watching the crompton offense, play safe and don't screw up. Hell the 4th qp can do that much.

Stephens, and Lamison have already been replaced for next year

I will take the coaches opinion over yours. What is your coaching resume by the way? Where is the evidence on Stephens ability? Crompton is not a stud but he is the best we have until the coaches say otherwise.

Stephens just isn't on par with the SEC QB's. He was always going to be a career 2nd or 3rd string guy when he was brought in. That's what some people job is, be ready to go in if something bad happens to the other guy. Plenty of QB's in the SEC have had good careers doing it.
