What the hold up? I thought Saban was making the decision at 1000? Does he need more time to count the money?

I think there was supposed to be a meeting with the Dolphins at 10:00 EST not an announcement. If he's staying in Miami, seems likely there would be an statement shortly after that meeting. If he takes the Bama job, one would expect him to fly to Bama for that announcement later today.

ESPNEWS drug it around and talked about it for 30 minutes then went back to their regular programming. Who knows when anything will be announced.

I was wondering about that too, crazyguy. Hank Goldberg said there was a rumor floating around Dolphin camp that a private jet had taken off to Tuscaloosa this morning.

Looks like he's going to Bammer. Several coaches and players (Dolphins) have said he told them he's going.

(all over Bham news).

Newspaper in FL said it is done deal. He did not meet with owner, he called him on the phone and told him his intentions. He then told his remaining staff over the speaker phone what he was choosing to do. Top notch there Nick. You will fit in fine.
