It's not exactly over yet. The Spurs are a great team and probably have the best coach in the NBA.
could it be a match up issue?
He presents a matchup issue for both teams. He's too slow to guard Bosh away from the basket, but I like the tradeoff cause he will kill them on the glass and in the deep post. With Duncan and Splitter in, the Heat guards have to help box them out, which opens things up for the Spurs wings to get rebounds. Between Kawhi, Parker, Ginobili, Mills, Belinelli, and Green, they had 6 rebounds. Leonard averages 6 rpg by himself.
Smart money is still on Spurs, IMO. The Heat were on fire and the Spurs were not shooting up to their average. Also the Spurs were only +1 in rebounds. Is all of that likely to happen 3 more times? Probably not. But I hope so.
Watched the video again, and the elbow was a bit harder than I remembered. Still, I don't buy Parker in the feeble position from that.
Lots of flopping from both teams.
