The MF'n Finals Thread

SA had to win both of those games. Don't see them winning one in Miami.

It's not exactly over yet. The Spurs are a great team and probably have the best coach in the NBA.

Smart money is still on Spurs, IMO. The Heat were on fire and the Spurs were not shooting up to their average. Also the Spurs were only +1 in rebounds. Is all of that likely to happen 3 more times? Probably not. But I hope so.

I don't get why Splitter was only on the court 19 minutes. That's why they were only +1 in rebounds.

could it be a match up issue?

He presents a matchup issue for both teams. He's too slow to guard Bosh away from the basket, but I like the tradeoff cause he will kill them on the glass and in the deep post. With Duncan and Splitter in, the Heat guards have to help box them out, which opens things up for the Spurs wings to get rebounds. Between Kawhi, Parker, Ginobili, Mills, Belinelli, and Green, they had 6 rebounds. Leonard averages 6 rpg by himself.

Do you think SA wins the series?

Yeah, but Miami has looked better than I thought they would, so I may be wrong.

Priceless seeing the spurs miss 4 free throws in a row, and heat winning a game in the fourth of a nailbiter.

Spurs hit a garbage time three.

You make some great points. But the way Bron is playin, I don't see this going 7. 6 for Miami. I hate changing my prediction but sometimes you have to admit you were wrong.

So what was the consensus here on that Chalmers elbow to Parker? I say this with all objectivity, it looked like a graze at best to me. I was shocked at how the commentators didn't take a closer look at it or didn't see what I saw. Yeah, I think contact was made, but it looked like poke instead of a solid hit to me.

Just found out that James Harden got 2 votes for all-defensive honors, LOL. I guess I'm not the only crazy one that thinks he's a good defender.

Find out who they are and I'll tell them they are idiots too. Probably 2 guys in Houston.

Watched the video again, and the elbow was a bit harder than I remembered. Still, I don't buy Parker in the feeble position from that.

Lots of flopping from both teams.

The thing is Chris that if hit in the right spot and angle, it doesn't have to be the most powerful shot.
It knocks your legs out and I don't think Parker was flopping. Had it happen to me and done it to other people. It zaps you as well and you could see the look on his face was different and the confidence was gone.

The latest from Bayless heat win tonight then spurs win 3 straight.
Doubtful it happens heat are just to much of a great team.
