The MF'n Finals Thread

I don't have any stats to back this up, but Ginobili was awful tonight. Maybe huff can consult his spreadsheets and tell if what I saw was correct or not.

When he's good, the positive outweighs the crazy. Tonight he was out of control too much.

He scored ok, had some bad misses from 3 and a few turnovers. This isn't statistically sound analysis though.

For such a veteran team with a great coach, the final Spurs possession was pathetic. Down 5 with ten seconds to play you can't make 3-4 passes trying to get an open look.

I enjoyed Ginobili's two ridiculous attempted flops in the last three minutes. It's definitely World Cup week!

Mine definitely wasn't either. He just took, and missed, some long shots that weren't great looks on some really critical possessions down the stretch.

Thats what i saw. But then again misses and makes are the same no matter what point of the game it is. :)

Hell yeah it is!

The best one was the one where the defender's hand brushed past his face and he spun around and then started looking for the call. I think that was also one of the times he jacked up a three and missed.

He more or less wasted two critical possessions trying to draw a foul. I don't generally care much about the flopping anymore, because everybody flops because it works, but at that point you can't get cute. Seemed uncharacteristic for a Spurs team.

Ginobili has always been the odd piece to the Spurs puzzle, they are all square pegs he's more of a hexagon
