I was browsing their football forum last night around ten and 6 of the most recently commented 10 threads were all about UT. Literally 6/10. They seem to have selective memory of recent legal trouble among members of the Vandy football team which actually led to convictions. Forget 3-9 to 4-8 seasons, they are satisfied as long as UT gets bad publicity or loses a few hard fought games a year against top teams.

Mason pretty much admitted that whenever he moved their spring practice earlier. I forget if it was just last year or both of his previous spring camps, but at the time he said it was so they could get their last season behind them as soon as possible and focus on the new.

Funny, we have spring practice for OU coming up that we'll have to man and the boss and I were talking about the timing. I made the comment about "who has spring camp in February?" as we were looking at the crew to work it. My boss says "obviously nobody worth a sh-t" without having any idea Vandy was doing theirs.

I had to laugh.

Their boards consists of random, from time to time posters, and several who constantly post and are obsessed with their hatred for UT.

I do not have access to sealed documents. I do have a first hand account of of how everything played out,and this will never make it to court. The plaintiffs lawyers don't want it, nor do the plaintiffs. UT's council is chomping at the bit for this to go to court.

I don't the plaintiff's lawyers are worried about perjury,and may be condoning it. Time will tell folks,just be patient.

I saw they have a thread now titled "sorry there is no comparison" regarding the present UT civil lawsuit and VU's rape trial. They are correct, the current case against UT and the criminal rape trial cannot be compared but............They may want to google the name "Sarah O'Brien". They face the same claims UT does. The difference, one complaint was filed with in the U.S. District Court and one was filed in the U.S. Office of Civil Rights. At the heart of both though are the same claims, so I would say there is a comparison.

I am not going to attempt to join VandyMania to pass this information along though.

They really do have a complex over there. There was one thread asking for spring updates and not to turn into a talk about UT. in the 8 posts there are 5 about UT.

Just seen a little snippet on the PF show featuring a couple Vandy players. They have named their defense the "Black Death Defense". :)

1. Racist, they have other races beyond black
2. Rapist, sounds like their goal is to infect everyone with a disease
3. Inefficient and dangerous, they are going to only effect 66% of the plays and in about half of those they aren't going to finish their job. and even when they do it will be a slow painful end result, aka they are going to hurt our players until we can't field an offense against them.

Just an FYI but a Vandy Mba student was stabbed to death by a terrorist in Israel in front of his wife and classmates. So say a prayer

His wife is in critical care.

we beat that team 2 out of three times and no one should expect everyone can be 3 and 0 against anyone in the SEC. It was not our home court and there may have been more UT fans than VU fans. I think we should be chosen, personally. Maybe we won't be but I wish we would.

This is the most disappointing season I can remember.

Dude still thinks they make the tourney...with 13 losses....after getting bounced in the opening round of the SEC Tournament by a Tennessee team that would struggle to win half the TSSAA highschool district tourneys? Nah. They're done. NIT or bust.

They had better hope there are no upsets in the tourneys..If Ole Miss wins tonight..they will have won the head to head and have two more overall victories.
