The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OG2lKg33Z3M

Vandy has their own hype film for 2016. I like the clip of their captains shaking hands with WKU's captains, who would proceed to beat them in their own stadium.

Also, lol @ the "highlight" of a Vandy defender decking Kamara on a play that went for an easy UT touchdown at 4:11.

Lol at one of their garbage time TDs against 3rd string D making the tape as well.

During the opening few seconds of the film when the stadium is empty... is that during a game or not? I can't tell.

Doesn't matter, it's the same setting.

I could go past the stadium right now and I could hardly tell the difference between today and during a gameday against a non-SEC opponent.

He won 9 games twice, at Vandy, and they could play with anybody. Give it a rest, you guys just look silly at this point.

Lazy take Hop. Just scratch the surface a little bit and you'll see that those 9 win seasons were all smoke and mirrors. Beat the bad teams, lost to the good teams.....never finished higher than 4th in an awful SECe. The one bit of credit he legitimately deserves is his ability to at least beat the bad teams, which is something Vandie historically hasn't done.

pie in the sky dreams they are having about a new stadium

If we build a 30,000 seat stadium with a covered seating areas (like a European soccer stadium) that will trap in the noise and make it louder on the field than it is currently. Our stadium should have 7,500 club level seats, 3,500 student seats, 10,000 regular season ticket seats, 5,000 single game seats, and 4,000 seats allocated towards visitors.
the only allotment they would fill there is the visitor one. and no way they come close to selling 7500 club seats. but at least most of them admit they don't need a bigger stadium

He tried to grammar :eek:lol:

For some reason they believe Standford's success is all because they rebuilt their stadium and cut the attendance way down. They've been talking about a new stadium since the early 90s.

What's funny is they are admitting the only way to fil the stadium constantly is make it small enough to fit their fanbase.

SIAP but they are having their spring practice earlier than most again this year. sounds like they will start in March. and they have the same questions they did last year.

there top players videos are funny. defense had two 2 stars, 2 three stars and their one four star. Only Zaire and Williams even had SEC offers. offensively all were 3 stars and only one held SEC offers

It's hilarious how Vandy fans want an even smaller stadium. Dudley Field is already tiny compared to the rest of the SEC and they want 10,000+ fewer seats.

Maybe they should just start playing their games at the Bridgestone Arena or better yet--the Municipal Auditorium. It seats 10,000. They might be able to fill it halfway up.

its mind boggling that they consider themselves a serious team when they have a real problem with being outnumbered in their own stadium. thats the real reason they want fewer seats so that fewer opposing fans can fit in the stadium.

Im sure Grassland Middle School could accommodate their field requirements..

looking at their scheduling thread they are talking up how good of game Purdue will be for them and how that will draw national attention; while stating that Wake Forest is a snoozer. a word to Vandy, all three of those schools are the same. The little brother in P5 conference which will be terrible. forever. also they have a home & away with Georgia State in about a decade.
