Good candidate but he spoke a lot about his one and done decision at Tennessee and said he would not do that again... so, I just don’t see him doing that. Yet, I was wrong about Pruitt being here next year, so what do I know?

I mean...we already have heard Kiffin express interest in the Auburn job this year. He is willing to leave, which is why IF we hired him, we need to put a MASSIVE buyout if he leaves.

I'd rather cancel the program than allow Kiffin to ever coach at UT again. Arrogant arse rode his daddy's reputation to an NFL coaching job disaster and then has failed at every major HC job since. Even the slight success he had at UT was marred by violations. He left UT a month and a half prior to national signing day then snuck out of town at night as he gave UT the finger and headed west. Kiffin; Not no but heck no.

Oh I missed the part where Hamilton fired him. He took advantage of the contract Hamilton had him sign, But he alone put us back in the search for a HC two years in a row. And way late too... Only a week earlier than where we are now due to a vacancy not due a coaches decision.

Give Kiffin a call and a buyout clause of 1:7. For every million you’re paying him the buyout would be 7 times that amount. So offer him a $5 million a year deal and the buyout is $35 million.

Kiffin is not interested in returning to Tennessee. He has a big time coaching job and he's assembling a good team with his current recruiting class. It's a hard pill to swallow but Ole Miss is the more desirable job right now.

There's no way they would hire Kiffin back. It would be way too good to happen. Waay too much of an attempt at winning again. UT wants to win w honor and integrity...in other words not really win. Just join conference usa and forget about this competing in the SEC nonsense.
