That worked until he found out about Epstein hitting on underage girls at his Mara lago club which in turn resulted in his expulsion.

Remember the New Jersey congressman who was told if he didn't vote for impeachment he would be opposed in his primary? They don't want difference if opinions on the Dems side. You just fall in line or you will be dealt with

You love to cherry pick your arguments. What about Schumer & Nadler + others of what they said in 1998?
People's opinions change over a period of time.....they don't stay the same after so many years that have gone by.

A Constitutional Lawyer's position on interpreting the U.S. Constitution should not change depending on who he is representing or on his own personal stake. However, with Alan Dershowitz, that does appear to be the case. Read what Laurence Tribe said. Tribe's credentials on constitutional law are just as strong as Dershowitz.

Dershowitz likes Trump, primarily because of the move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. Dershowitz mostly just cares about Israel. He was advocating for the release of Jonathan Pollard, an Isreali spy for decades. Don't be surprised when Trump pardons Pollard.
