...and even when Trump is trying to counter an argument, it will immediately devolve into childish antics. "No puppet. No puppet. You're the puppet." He is so uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch that he makes his opponent look bad too, by simply being on the same stage with him.

I don’t disagree. But that’s how it will play out. 5% of the voting populace in 5 states will decide this thing. Who knows how they break? Strong economy and low unemployment are big. His ass hatery is big too. Like I said. God help us.

Fatigue...Dems aren’t acknowledging that a vast majority of the silent voters from both parties are suffering from political fatigue and just don’t give a damn about hearing it anymore.

One can only beat on the same drum set for so long before folks start finding ways to tune it out. Keep beating on it and folks will turn to ways to shut up the irritation for good...voting the drummers out of office.

The unrelenting bashing and insidious coup attempt on a duly elected president will likely have unexpected repercussions at the voting booth come November.

I can give him some credit... I think the tax cuts have helped and some of the de-regulation has as well. However, Trump started with a distinct advantage with a workforce of 145.7 million, 9% larger than when Barack Obama took office. Additionally, over President Obama's last six years and five years in office, after the Great Recession, the average employment gains were 2.42 and 2.48 million jobs per year. To provide a monthly comparison, the average employment gain in Obama's last five years in office was 207,000. That is virtually the same as what we have now. There is considerable evidence that the economic growth under Trump was really just a continuation of what had started under Obama. I know the conservatives here don't want to hear that... but it's the reality when you look at the numbers.

But like I said, I can give Trump credit for the tax cuts.

Yep. Obama was working on getting us out of NAFTA, out of TPP, out of the Iran deal, the Paris Climate Accords, Obama had already dropped the Obamacare mandates, had already cut taxes, opened up pipelines, expanded our domestic oil production, natural gas fracking. Obama was really hammering on our allies to help pay for their own defense, beef up the military, reduce federal sentencing for drug crimes, etc. This was all after Obama moved the capital from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and closed Gitmo. ……..Obama was a busy, busy man with all he accomplished in only 8 years.

You forgot one big , huge , enormous thing about all that ... Consumer confidence is the gas pedal for any economy , that’s something Trump contributes directly to and Obama didn’t . ( IMO)
