Wasted money IMHO - the "Russia!" BS actively promoted by a good amount of the media and Dems has done insanely more of the this than a couple $K of Facebook ads ever could.

Na. She’s in a lose lose situation. The dims will play the spin for awhile that the senate won’t have a fair trial (lol so hypocritical) and they’ll try to dictate how the senate must do things. It won’t happen. If they just let it ride out until November they’ll get hammered for 11 months and it won’t be good.

If you don’t think memes are funny then you are the stick up the azz , low count brain cells kind I was referring to . I’ve found most liberals don’t find memes that funny , but that’s just a personal observation .

They have a plan - I just haven't figured it out yet. She wouldn't be doing this just to stall. There's a strategy.

Might be some attempt to let Schumer complain about the process in an attempt to flip some Senate seats in 2020.

Not saying it will work but Nancy doesn't do things by accident.

A uniform core curriculum is nothing more than a set of established standards. Which we've already pretty much had.

that is not what uniform core curriculum means. Standards are proscribed levels of proficiency. Curriculum is methods, content, style of teaching. If the standard is based on math the curriculum is HOW students are taught to meet the standard. Attempting to make the HOW uniform is nuts.

No one is attempting to dictate methods or style. Content is directly tied to standards. It sounds like you've adopted the right wing take. GA went so overboard with their "local authority" that they ended up putting their students at a disadvantage. But hey, they showed all of those big federal gov'ment people what's what.

The only reason this is happening is the Dems hope it will hurt his chances of re-election and also so that when he goes to nominate another SC Justice they can say "we cant accept a judge from an impeached president".

They're assuming everyone will forget that they had to do this fast to prevent him from stealing another election. Our national security was at risk! Our very Democracy was at risk! Now? Meh, we'll get to it when we get to it.
