The Golf Thread

Don't get me wrong an 88 is one of my better scores. I just can't seem to put it all together for a full round.

I played my 8th grade year for school and then didn't play any in high school. Just started getting back into it the last few months. I can't get enough of it.

I hear you man. Once I started I got hooked. I can actually watch it on TV now too ha

Any of y'all familiar with a Nickent 4dx IW 3 20 degree Hybrid? A guy said he would sell me his for 30 dollars. Do you think that is that a pretty good deal?

Nickent usually known for solid hybrids. Check for dummy marks and loose ferrule. Should be a good buy.

45 holes today. 94, 89, & 42. I almost had 2 eagles in a row. I chipped one in on a par 4 then had a par 5 eagle putt lip out on the next hole. I'm in love with my Rocketballz 3 Wood. I put 3 strips of lead tape on my putter, not sure if it's helping or hurting though.

If I played 45 holes on a 95 degree day, I'd be useless for a week and possibly need IVs and traction.

We do 36 on Father's Day weekend and it's always a good ten days before any of us touch a club again.

I've always said that if I design a golf course, it's going to have 3 sixes instead of 2 nines since my attention span starts waning and I get thirsty on about 13 or 14.

$27 for us. i'm glad, because i would have been pissed to pay $50 and find out when i got to the first green like we did.

That's complete BS that they didn't tell you on the phone or in the pro shop when you checked in.

If you book a time at this course through the shop and not through golfnow, you're doing it wrong.

If I see a rate that's half of the normal rate, that a pretty good sign to me that something is up.

Also, both the guy in the shop and the starter told me.

Golfnow has an icon too for aerated greens.

Got a text from my buddy for a free round a pelican hill tomorrow.

Think it's like 275 to play. So naturally I created a lie to my boss so I am in!

i booked thru golfnow and the aerated icon was not present. no one said a thing to us about the greens. the starter was not even in the starter shed. it was bs, but for $27 i guess i should have known it was just too good to be true.
