nope, it's grooveless to help minimize spin. With those swing speeds, he's never had a ball last a full hole, even just driving the green and rocking surlyn.
I am going to give the launch monitor a go to see if it is worth me pursuing the long drive competitions. I'll post a picture of my results. I ain't skeered!
Right now I've worked my way back to decent if I were to guess. My game is actually coming back together now that I'm playing regularly again. Last four rounds were 84, 83, 89 and an 85. Haven't computed handicap in a couple of years.
I love opening the 60 up. The ninth hole at one of the base courses here lines up right with the driving range and my buddy and I will sit on the tee box for 15 minutes trying to hit all the range balls back over the top of the net. Object is to see who can do from the closest distance (obviously)
