If Hovland gets 0.5 point for not being able to play today, why did the Euros play at all? Would’ve won with 6 points from the halves. Riskier thing was to play.

I love golf and enjoying watching it, even the Ryder cup. That said I just don’t understand the fabricated “patriotic” aspect of it.
