Interesting British Open so far. Some really funky pin placements are the only thing protecting St Andrews from really really low scores for the guys hitting it well. Tiger in the process of shooting himself out of contention on the first nine of the first round.

It's far and away the least difficult of the Open rota

Stenson appears to be a LIV dude and out as Ryder Cup captain. LIV continues to be mostly a retirement program for the aging and no longer relevant. A few good hauls in Johnson, Dechambeau and Koepka (although I consider him fading). Maybe more young established superstars will decide to join.

The guy that just won the open and the players championship is rumored to be going as well. The PGA Tour will have to cave to some degree eventually.

DJ is still the only one to jump ship that moves the needle at all.

It’ll be interesting to see who, if anyone, jumps after the Ryder Cup.

Have heard some possible rumors of Anthony Kim joining LIV… that would be interesting. There have been theories that he has a $20M+ insurance policy that he’s been receiving the benefits from due to injuries. If the Saudis basically paid him that plus another $50M, there would be some eyeballs on their tour… at least for some amount of time.
